Dental Bonding

During a dental bonding treatment, Dr. Cloud prepares the tooth by lightly scuffing it to ensure that the bonding material adheres easily to the tooth. Then, he applies a resin material to the tooth and carefully sculpts it to achieve the desired shape and size. It is cured with a special light and buffed to a shine that resembles the surrounding teeth.
Bonding is a more conservative option than alternatives such as porcelain veneers. It’s also quick and typically complication-free. The downsides to bonding are that it doesn’t last as long as other cosmetic dentistry options, and the bonding material is susceptible to staining.
